The Joomla Project is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Joomla 3.0.0

Joomla 3.0.0 uses Twitter Bootstrap to become the first any major CMS to be mobile device friendly out-of-the-box. It also adds PostgreSQL database support in addition to the existing MySQL and MSSQL support.

This is a short term release intended for early adopters. Most users with existing Joomla 2.5.x websites will wait for the next long term release Joomla 3.5 in Spring 2014 before upgrading.

Support for Joomla 1.5 will end shortly after the release of Joomla 3.0. It is currently supported only for security issues.
