I received some spam today from someone who posted a message on this forum. Is there something that can be done to stop this inappropriate use of our forum? Search the forum on the word 'shoe' to find the posting.

Unusually, one spammer went to the trouble of actually confirming their account and posting a response!!!

They now have been removed, as has the spam (and about 200 attempted spammers who have logged in but not confirmed).

The spam you then received was due to you being a moderator - and someone had clicked on the "Report to Moderator" button to trigger the notification.
