G'day fellow Joomla lovers!

Twitter is an extremely fast growing micro blogging site as no doubt many of you are well aware. There are many Joomla users on Twitter as well as several developers and template builders. Quite a mix from the Joomla community.

I recently noticed that many people were asking help on a wide variety of applications, but particularly Joomla and Wordpress. These people, or should I say Tweeps, often had great difficulty in expressing what their problem was in the space of 140 characters. This is perfectly understandable.

So I set up a new web site called Help Via Twitter. The site provides a Forum using the Agora Forum system, fully integrated with Joomla.

The concept is that people can post a cry for help, or First Aid as I have called it on the site with full details of what their problem is including a web site as well. The subject lines are then fed to Twitter via RSS every half hour.

At present Help Via Twitter is servicing Cagora, Joomla, Friendfeed, Social Media Sites, Twitter and Wordpress.

Apart from First Aid, the site also provides a Forum in each of the above categories for Hot Tips. These are also fed by RSS to the Twitterverse.

If you are a Twitter user, or even if you aren't, perhaps you might like to join the site and post some Hot Tips for Joomla or even answer some cries for First Aid as the site grows.
