G'day. Trying to put the code in a custom html module for a MyBlogLog button. Do I need a plugin for the code to work?

Hi Laurie - the editor is probably stripping the button code.

Try turning off the editor and then putting in code and saving. ie go to yoursite.com/administrator - global config / site / editor - select off and save.
Then go to extensiosn / mod manager and your html mod an dput raw code in.
Save and see how you go - alternatively you could try another editor like jce

I've put a feed from an external site in a syndication module in the sidebar. I have to set the permission in the Cache directory to 777 for it to work. Even at 775 it won't work. Is this safe, please? I don't like the look of it.
