I've just noticed an issue on my site. Images from a certain directory are not appearing on pages.

I've checked the permissions on the files, checked that the images aren't corrupted (they're not) but for some reason, they're not showing. At the moment, the problem seems limited to the one directory but it's not an easy thing to check...

Here's an example. The cancer council image shows, but the sponsor's image doesn't (you can see where it's supposed to be by the "Proudly sponsored by..." text).

Advice I've received is that it's a "corrupted table" in the database. But I have no idea what table that would be.

Any suggestions?

shows for me - check your cache perhaps - what browser are you using?

ps images reside in teh web directory not database - if only one image is missing more likely related to the path

Really? You can see the credit union logo? I've tried in IE6 and two Firefoxes (Win & Mac) and all show the image as missing (but not broken). All the images from the /images/stories/sponsors directory show as duds for me (mainly visible in the main "Benefits" page).

Ack, I've just checked, and it works in Safari.

I don't understand. Sigh. How is that even possible?

Well, I guess the good news is that it's not the database. I didn't understand how it could be, but my "adviser" was very confident.

Thanks for checking. There's never any accounting for IE, but perhaps something has changed in Firefox. Drat.

works for me in ie 7, 8, chrome , opera, safari, ff - I think you need to delete yoru browsing history (cache) and restart - see how you go
