I am having an issue outputting a report that is generated by my custom component as pdf.
Firstly I am still using Joomla 1.0.15. I have tried the Cezpdf class that is shipped with that version of Joomla.
I also downloaded the latest version of TCPDF which is the library shipped with Joomla 1.5.9 but still experience the same issue.
What happens is I get an error in Adobe Reader that says
The version of TCPDF that I downloaded came with a heap of examples so I pointed my browser to one of those example files which I placed in my component directory. That worked fine, no error, PDF outputted correctly. I then included that file in my component file so that the example was called from within Joomla, same error. It is like Joomla writes something to the output stream that is ahead of the '%PDF-1.3' that should be there. Can anyone suggest something to overcome this please.

I have since actually saved the output file and opened it with a text editor. The problem is that some how Joomla is including the HTML of the page down to where the button is to actually generate the report. (I tried to upload the output file but: :-[
