Hi Everyone,

Me the absolute beginner again, and I have a few queries.

I have managed to create a blog style front page which scrolls down, but it has the Joomla logo at the top which I would prefer to hide. Any clues? Do I have to import a template to change background colours or lose the basic joomla logos and menus?

Also - if I request www.mywebsite.com.au I just get:

Index page
cgi
joomla

- if I request www.mywebsite.com.au/index.html I just get:

Oops this page appears broken

If I click on joomla my web page appears

If I request www.mywebpage.com.au/joomla I get my page.

Seems llike I have things in the wrong folders.

Can some one help me how to view my page from www.mywebpage.com.au



Also can someone recommend the best free online pdf Joomla guide.
