I am looking for a image plugin where you might have 5 images on the one page. Lets say one of those images is a car. When you click on the car thumbnail, the image size increases (via another flash style window or whatever) and then you have the option to view other images of the car. Say a side view, a top view, a underneath view, etc.

The important thing is that you only have the 1 image but you have the option to view that same image but those images are NOT on the article page.

Does that make sense?

Cheers,

JL

What you need, Mate, is a Flash Image Gallery.

If you go to the Joomla extention pages you'll find dozens of them, many free, and the developers urging you to accept their freebies.
On the way to being a basic Joomla user.

You can do it with Mootool or jQuery in a ajax gallery but its not as simple as it may seem to implement.

I can't think of a joomla module that will do it off the top of my head, but a plugin would be better.

This is the source code that i like to use:
leandrovieira.com/projects/jquery/lightbox/#

but he took down the single thumb gallery example.

This extension fits nicely what I was after:

extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-.../photo-gallery/11426

It allows one image in a article and the user can scroll through the associated images for that "product" or click on the image and a flash window pops up and they can scroll through the images that way.

Thanks for your suggestions and help,

John
