It's time for explanations.

Firstly, why have all Joomla domains that are not held by the Core Team become fair game for legal suit, essentially nullifing the Core's own direction regarding domain name embargos for the name /3PD product identification between 18 Aug 2005 and 2 Sep 2005 ?

Secondly,

After assurances from Shayne publically that User Groups would not be controlled or micromanaged by the Core Team/OSM and retain an independent nature within the Joomla community, why are those assurances now removed?

Part of the FAQ specifically states that a UG can't damage the reputation of the Core Team / Joomla product, which, in essence, means censorship and restricting the independent voice to speak locally concerning issues with Joomla, OSM, the Core, and how the product affects users. It is this removal of assurances that is of high concern.

It's already public knowledge that the Core Team violated copyright infringment when Louis Landry went on his 'stupid'fest, so if people can't talk about the legal accountability the Core Team has to the rest of the Joomla community, what can they talk about ?

The other issue I see within this 'registered UG' structure is that (yet again) the privacy and marketing capital that is present within any UG is not addressed. In the same way that Ansearch attempted to capitalize on the Mamboserver.com forum accounts, the data and privacy of UG's, both here, and on the main forum, are now up for potential sale.. since the Core/OSM is delivering "registration" and "reputation management" through the UGs.
