I need to get a photo and video gallery setup for a new Joomla web site. As it's a few years since I've looked at gallery components I thought I'd ask what the current favourite is.

Hi All

I am wanting to find an extension, component etc that can display a category or section with a small thumbnail and a bit of text. An example of a page that I am trying to re-create in Joomla can be found at

Any ideas on how this could be achieved would be greatly appreciated.

hm. I don't know either. There are a lot of new Ajax photo components but I have not had time to test them. The only galleries i've used are CB (Nant's) Gallery for Community Builder and RS Gallery, both of which are OK but not aesthetically stunning.

There is a template out there called \"Joomla Gallery\" unsure by whom... (see below) that has an integrated RS Gallery.

Very clean design and well implemented. And RS Gallery is only days away from an overdue upgrade so might be worth a look.

I put up a site with this template in 2 days and the client loved it
