Howdy all....

One of the sites that I have www.evolvewebservices.com.au/ I would like to extend the menu at the top of the home page. I have had a look via firebug but cannot seem to get it to work. If you look at the site you will see I have a menu link called "Ecommerce" where I would like to show people what a simple ecommerce site would look like. I need the menu link beside the others, not underneath as you can see.

I used the rocket theme free module and it works pretty good. Had a few problems with virtuemart with me no being able to access the configuration section viw the module. I just got an error.

Any other suggestions for shopping carts that are simple to setup? This one seems to work great if you haven't got heaps of items. I am still sorting out the finer points.

Thanks always for any help. I have to tell you that this is the best forum for people helping out. A select few here deserve a medal for the assistance they provide and offer.

Cheers,

JL

dex, you might have posted your comment in the wrong thread. I did sort out the Joomla issue but I still have the issue with the menu as per this thread...

Goto the .../templates/joomlajet57/css/template.css

file and change the WIDTH variable here to suit

#topnav .moduletable {
float:right;
width:480px;
}

Also - if you use firefox browser - get firebug addon to help you locate css

Thanks JLJ, that fixed it. I did use the fireug addon but when I checked the coding it shows me:

#topnav {
background-image:url(../images/topnavbg.gif);
background-position:center top;
background-repeat:no-repeat;
height:32px;
margin:0 auto;
text-align:right;
width:925px;
}

but not what you suggested. I guess I am getting the hang of this with people like you helping me.

A thousand thanks,

JL
