Hello Everyone,

I have some problem with the Xampp, so i had to uni-install Xampp but i have backed up my database and htdocs folder.

After Re-installing the xampp ...Everything was working well but when i log in to administrator of my developing website ...In module manager, i couldn't able to see the checkedbox not appearing and it shows me an error message as

Warning: Parameter 1 to JHTMLGrid::access() expected to be a reference, value given in C:\xampp\htdocs\Implumbing\libraries\joomla\html\html.php on line 87

Warning: Parameter 1 to JHTMLGrid::checkedOut() expected to be a reference, value given in C:\xampp\htdocs\Implumbing\libraries\joomla\html\html.php on line 87

Warning: Parameter 1 to JHTMLGrid::published() expected to be a reference, value given in C:\xampp\htdocs\Implumbing\libraries\joomla\html\html.php on line 87

In html.php ...on line 87

return call_user_func_array( array( $className, $func ), $args );

If anyone can help me out ...how to fix this ..I would be really thankful

thanks
andy

Hmm.. I don't know where you were up to with this project - but I woudl probably reinstall joomla and templates/addons - you can still probably connect to same db (or copy it across.

Or at least set up a second directory with a fresh joomla install first and see whether it works - I guess try and narrow down whether someethign has gone awry with joomla install or whether setting in xampp are the probllem = - and start there.

Hi Admin,

I have tried as u said but the problem still persists....and finally i found out wat was wrong with it ......

I hope this helps some. I just had this same problem with it referring to a 404 looking for an article #2.

What I quickly realized was that one of my menu items (in this case, the menu item I used for "home") was pointed to an article was disabled. Since that menu loads on every page, it couldn't find the article for that link, so it resulted in the error described above.

The fix was easy. Go into Article Manager and look through all your articles and see if you have home article is enabled. Again check the website it would be function exactly as it did before....

anyways i would like to thank people for helping ..

thanks
andy
