Hi all

My joomla site is showing ok on IE8 and Firefox on my PC at home. I thought I'd check it out on the PC at the place I'm freelancing at which uses IE7 and it's not displaying everything. I can't see video on the home page for example (I can see the module but not the video itself), nor can I see the 'tweet this' green button on each article anywhere in the site. At the bottom of the pages it says 'Done but with errors on page'.

I can't download Firefox or other browsers here as I don't have permission. Any ideas on why it's not displaying everything on IE7 and what I can do to remedy it? Also, is there any way at home that I can see what it looks like on a range of browsers and versions eg IE6 and IE7 and earlier editions of Firefox and Opera? And if it doesn't display correctly on earlier versions, what do I do?

Well, Katrina, two weeks have gone by and nobody's answered. I don't know the answer but I'm going to have a guess that may be helpful in you working it out for yourself.

When I downloaded the latest version of Firefox the other week, it gave me a spiel about the new FF not needing some plugin to view videos. I'd guess the latest IE (IE8) would have the same.

So I guess the video format that you have used in your website (uploaded to U-Tube) is such that it can be read by your browser at home but not the older browser.
