Strange, very strange...

My sons teams sports page:

tetigers.com.au I am having trouble with the "Read More..." link showing on the frontpage.

Now here is the strange bit, they site used to be theentrancejuniorrugbyleague.com.au/index.php and I used it as a test site. No worries, all works fine and dandy on that site but if I try to get it working on the new site, no luck.

I have implemented a dodgy work around where I place "Read More..." text in the intro part and link it to the page.

I notice on the one that is working correctly (using Firebug) that on the Read More link this has the following HTML entry:

<a class="readon" href="sitename...index.php..id=12&ItemID=1..."Read More...</a> but that entry does not exist on the new site. Any hints, tips, etc. It MUST be something simple.....

I have searched high an low via Google but no luck thus far

I am using version 1.0 by the way.

hmm..

(in administrator / backend of Joomla!)

1. Have you definitely set up yourreadmore links in the actual articles

AND
2. clicked - "show read more " in menu i(front pge) item for home page

menu/mainmenu(probably)/menuitems/home/parameters(component)Read more... Link (click show)

I knew it would be something simple. Other than me being very simple, that worked. I feel stupid but that is situation normal.

Not stupid - there's a lot to learn & remember in joomla - it's a comprehensive system
