One more question please.

The standard registration for Joomla users include, username, email address and password etc.

Is there anyway this can be extended to include, name address, telephone numbers, postcodes etc??? or does it require some sort of a plug in??

A simply way is to use an extension like community builder - you'll have to use it's login module and user manager - but it allows you to define user fields on registration -

- you'll probably have to spend a little time reading up on the component etc to get started

Thank you, I have had a look at their site but for the life of me can't see any download for the standard community builder??
