My client needs an extra hand to work on low level changes to an existing Joomla site. Must be someone very familiar with Joomla's capabilities, who is also confident in extension and template code tweaking. The client is quite technically savvy, but not in the Joomla/PHP area.

You would be working on a casual as-needed basis, to support development on a project that will run for the next few months. I am the project's technical lead, and there will also be an external PHP developer.

Anyone available? Prefer Sydney, although top notch communicator elsewhere also considered. Please reply with your experience, samples of your work, availability and hourly rate.

I'm not in Sydney, but apart from that I should be well able to fill in this role.

I have done more than 20 sites using Joomla (3 page to 50+ page sites) and have over 9 years experience in general web design.

I would like to know a bit more about what kind of client this is and what the web site is all about.

I am very booked until the 2nd week of March. After this stage I'd be able to set aside whatever time is needed for the project (good to know roughly how much time is needed beforehand). Hourly rate is $30 for business customers.
