I administer my wife's Joomla!-based blog Babyology, that is currently running on Joomla! 1.0 and hosted out of the US. It's fairly stock, I've done a bit of customisation here and there but nothing radical. I have a computer graphics background but my web programming is pretty basic.

As the traffic has grown, we've looking to move to dedicated hosting in Australia and updating to 1.5, as well as a general look overhaul and user interaction. There are also a couple of custom components we've been looking to have developed.

The things we'd want done are:

1. Migration of the site from Joomla 1.0 to a different host on 1.5
2. Updating the user interaction model and adding a few more "bells and whistles"
3. Updating the template based on graphic design that we supply
4. Improving the speed of the site
5. Custom development (can you give an idea of rates?)

If anyone is interested, it would be great to see examples of the work you've done or referrals from happy clients.
