I'm trying to get a large site to run on a USB stick using server2go. Got the site going but when I log on I get a white screen of death ie a PHP error. The are many things you can do to track the issues but since I was lock out of the admin area I has some problems.

The best suggest was to put this php code in the index.php file

error_reporting(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors',TRUE);

Works like a dream in showing those pesky error.

From within Joomla! Administration;

SITE > GLOBAL CONFIGURATION | Server (Error Reporting) to maximum works well too.

For those who hack the configuration.php, set ;



to acheive the same thing.
