Nice idea Dex, but there's no way I want my clients getting into phpMyAdmin. Most have enough trouble with cPanel. I install extensions for easy backups and also have the JCE editor on all sites.

Cheers,

firstly, sorry for joining here even though I'm not from Australia. Hope you don't mind.

Dex, thanks a lot for spreading the word about joomanuals in the Australian Joomla community.

@RicRaftis, I agree, non-technical people find things like phpMYAdmin, cPanel, etc. very overwhelming.
Joomanuals has a chapter on Joomlapack too, so you can just enter some details about the joomplapack config on their site and it will show them how to cerate a backup of their site and download it on their computer using Filezilla.
You can choose to include any or both of these chapters in the manual.

We're still working on the JCE chapter with special focus on the image manager, and it will be available soon.

Jsecure, Joomlapack , (and soon JCE ) chapters are made as per clients' suggestions. Even if you are not our client but have a suggestion for Joomanuals, it is most welcome.
Feel free to message me from my site for any doubts, questions or suggestions.

and finally,
Merry Christmas!
