K2 Items 'email' button not working

I have K2 on a site and have set the 'print' and 'email' buttons to show on all items. The Print button works fine but when I test the Email button, the form appears but upon hitting send I get an error message, "Email could not be sent".

The URL for the email form is very 'ugly'...

domain.com.au/component/option,com_mailt...w%3D/tmpl,component/

I've done some google searches on the issue - some refer to the SEF url so I've turned off sh404sef and the default Joomla SEF to see if that made a difference but it didn't seem to.

Has anyone else come across this issue?

nikunj OFFLINE Expert Boarder Posts: 153 Karma: 4	Hi Jen, Upload the attached file to /public_html/components/com_mailto folder and it will fix the email issue. It's a known bug of J1.5.23 but as per the other user suggestions i have made couple of line changes in attached file and it work for me.
