Hi,

I'm developing a website by Joomla 1.7.1. and It's my first cms experience

I should develop a latest news feature in this website:

Latest News Page - a person should be able to login and update/add news articles and images.
I've found "AiDaNews", it's installed and assigned to the "Latest News" category, but nothing happens!
It seems that it's not assigned, or I don't know how can I work around it?! I can't find any useful document for it.
I just need an extension to show me list of articles with an image beside of them and a read more link to full story page.

anyone can help me, please? I have a serious deadline

or any other useful extension you may suggest me?

That's what the Article format for Category Blog Layout is for.

Just tweak the settings for the page layout in the menu item and you'll be able to have your requested layout showing with the image, introtext and read more. Don't forget that you need to put the read more into the article at the right point to have it trigger.

Hi again,

I've used Category Blog. but AiDaNews is better for my customer and I swiched back to use it.
I have couple of settings for positions and styling in AiDaNews Module to prevent any problem for end user article formating.

All good and it's working perfect for me.

Just one problem?!
When I click on a news (Article) Full article appears on the page, but the problem is all other news lists at the bottom of the page as well.

I just want to show that specific article in this page. What should I do?
