I'm curious to learn more about K2 and compare its use to that of JCE.

I'm interested in canvassing others opinions about these two modules and personal preferences for either and why. Do they each have strengths / weaknesses, search via keywords, meta tags, etc.,

Not comparing apples to apples there...

K2 is a content creation kit - which ads features like tags and extra fields to articles, and can replace the Joomla Article system entirely if you're creative. Comparable components include SobiPro and YooZoo. Personally, I've found K2 is far more flexible than either of these others.

JCE is Joomla Content Editor. It's a component that replaces and improves on the default TinyMCE editor that comes with Joomla. Highly recommend it as there's a few things that it does that greatly improve on TinyMCE.
