Hello all

My client is wanting a store locator on the their site that would have the same functionality as this website;

www.provision.com.au/

I've had a look at the some of the options available on the joomla site and I am uncertain as to what may be the best direction to go down. Has anyone used a store locator and found it easy to customise? Also, would Sobi2 or SobiPro be a better option?

I have used component called Jlocate. You can see it in action here www.bambooflooringaustralia.com/index.php?option=com_jlocate

It's bit slow as it fetch the google map at the same time but my client was happy with the output.

The developers are really helpfull to customise if needed.

I did have a look at that one and thought it wasn't too bad. Do you know if they are going to release a Joomla 1.6/1.7 version. I'd ideally like to use Joomla 1.6 or higher.

Do you think Sobi2 could be an option for this type of setup?

Sobi2 will do the job.

Also i am not sure about 1.6/1.7 version of jlocate but if you send them an email then they will tell you. they are generally fast in responding the tickets.
