Hi everybody,

I am running a Joomla on a Windows Server 2008 and IIS7. I have PHP5.2.13 and Fast CGI application also I have web.config in root folder.

After activating native SEO of Joomla for it, I have semi-seo friendly URL. it has some numbers!

somedomain.com/kitchen-galleries/9-kitchens-melbourne/direct-kitchens/22-carissa.html

I would prefer to have it line this

somedomain.com/kitchen-galleries/kitchens-melbourne/direct-kitchens/carissa.html

Any idea?

Abbas,

That is the default way that Joomla does SEF unforutnately. Not as clean as it could be, and not as clean as it can be without installing sh404SEF as Ant mentioned.

dev.anything-digital.com is where you can purchase a developer license for sh404SEF for as little as US$35pa (so today A$ makes it 10% cheaper!) or if you're going to be doing lots of sites, look at all their products and consider if a lifetime developer licence is worthwhile getting. In my case it certainly was.
