Hello

I did use RSForms Pro and enbed_pdf plugin as well in a form you can find here bit.ly/u4lIxd .

I put the plugin into the RSForms Pro as text! You can find it attached.

When I try to read the pdf section of the page in iPad or Iphone, it doesn't move!

Any idea?

Thanks
Abbas

Not a very good idea to go any where near bit.ly Abbas. Far too many issues and hackers for my liking.

Shane... Less a problem with bit.ly itself - one of the most popular short URL service around - and more to do with what dodgy people put at the long end of that short URL.

Abbas... that plugin looks like its most likely putting the pdf in as an Iframe, that is not implemented in a compatible way for iOS devices. So either go back to plugin developer to see if they have a solution, or change your method to display text instead.

Point taken Patrick - and thankyou. We simply avoid it (for the obvious reasons) but you are correct

Abbas,

It's using embed code to put the PDF in the HTML. Looks like there's issues with how this is implemented for mobile devices: www.google.com.au/search?q=ipad+embedded+pdf+display+in+safari

So perhaps it's back to the drawing board again. Unless you end up with a way to show <noembed> content in the plugin.

Hello everyone,

After I couldn't find a solotuon for viewing pdf in iPad, I've done the research and I cound this ipad/iphone app which works perfect.

itunes.apple.com/us/app/handysign-docume...zer/id410231139?mt=8

You can send the pdf file into your dropbox and open it with handy sign. Then you can flip the pdf and either sign or type or even highlight some sections and then sent it as an attachment to yourself or any other person.

I am pretty happy with the solution which costed me $1.99 + huge amount of time to find the correct app!!

So try it and let others know that we can save time and trees by using this app.

Thanks Partic and Shane for helping and advises.

scrollable div won't work on iphone and ipad as it is. One of my client is using fixed height (browser height) and the long page he cant scroll on i-devices. if he tries to scroll on ipad than it moves the page up and down.

TIP:

To scroll your scrollable div use 2 fingers to scroll the page and it will scroll only div not the whole page. Took me 2 hrs to figure it out.
