I'm changing direction a bit and as such, have to pass off one of my major projects that I've started a bit of. I'm in need of a fine web developer to take this over.
The job:
To build a professional website for
Dalgarno Institute, effectively communicating the aims of alcohol and drug prevention. The website shall be a complete redesign using only the text & logo from nobrainer.org.au.
The "No Brainer" website shall be:
• Highly interactive and engaging to young minds;
• Scalable to allow for future social media applications and other growth;
• Easy to use, both in the front and back-end;
• Not requiring much long-term maintenance; and,
• State-of-the-art.
The current old No Brainer website (to be completely re-done) is at
http://nobrainer.org.au/ (the Dalgarno Institute site is to be redone too, but at a later date - if you do well, you'll have that one too).
Where I got up to:
Done most of the graphics (front page, article page & contact page), and some research into appropriate extensions, with some starting work on the Joomla installation (but basically no Graphics -> HTML as yet)
It doesn't actually have to be Joomla if you think it would work better in a different environment (he stressed that it should be easy to use)
His kind of price range:
$2,600 (But you might propose something different) -> i'm giving what he already gave me back to him, so, this should give you heaps of room. On the other hand, he may now expect to pay less, given there's less work load.
What Shane, the director of Dalgarno Institute & No Brainer, is after:
Timeliness is his major concern, after I've stuffed him round for many weeks now (finally realising that I'm simply doing too many projects at once).
Obviously, you'll need to be able to produce previous work that has "bling". He's trying to appeal to young teenagers, as he's all about drug use prevention.
If you feel you're up for it, and you've got the time to start immediate work on this, please contact Shane directly (contact details on above websites).
You can ask any further questions here if they relate to the brief, but Shane will be responsible for choosing/finding another developer.
