Can you help?

With AMSI relocating in February 2011 to new smaller premises, the great meeting room we've had available for the past few years is no longer!

We're after suggestions or offers of meeting places that are:
- Ideally free or minimal cost
- Accommodate 20 - 30 people
- Optionally have projector facilities (or someone can bring a projector)
- Is close to Melbourne CBD
- Ideally has cheap/free evening parking close by.

Post offers / suggestions in this thread.

Hi,
My name is Glenda and I have just joined the group,
I have a building but it is in Thomastown. I can provide a projector as well.
I am able to seat around 30 People

Just need to add that we have free car parking and the room will be free as well, I am only too happy to help. Just that it is not near the CBD

Thomastown's a little out of the way (MJUG members currently are located from Geelong to Mornington to Mt Macedon and everywhere in between), but if we're stuck, or switch to a moving MJUG will let you know.

Rendevous looks ok, but parking around there can be a nightmare (my wife works 4 doors up from there).

Hi Nic

No problems. I understand that people are coming from all around Melbourne, but if you ever want to use the venue, I don't have a problem with that, free of charge.
We actually have 65 car parking spaces, so parking is no problem at all.
We are in Commercial Drive Thomastown with our own car parking spaces.

Looking forward to coming to wherever you decide to hold the next meeting.
