Hi All,
Last night i did a clean install demo with both Freeway and Joomla onto a single database to the Melbourne Joomla User group and at the same time using a webcast for the members who had too far to travel

Using the latest build of the joomla integration product modules etc and
the component here:
Bridge Component by Obada

The end result can be see on my demo site.

the process
-install joomla and configure first
-install through the Joomla extensions manager
com_freeway.zip
mod_freeway.zip you may leave this unpublished (have a play with this but it will have to be either this or the others only they wont work together)
mod_freeway_products.zip publish where you want menu to appear
-install other mod_'s as required
-add the link_index.php to the root directory
-add the htaaccess file
-install the freeway files to the root directory (folder freeway)
-go to the www.yoursite.com/freeway
install the component as per the install process
-remove the install folder
-change the permissions of the two config files SEE Alert
Go to the site www.yoursite.com/
you should now see the cart in the menu
-Log In to the admin of joomla www.yoursite.com/administrator
-select Component/Freeway CP
the freeway admin comes up inside the Joomla Admin

All the Best of Freeway Driving
Cheers all

Hi John

I have installed Freeway onto my Joomla site, and thank you so much!! I am not a developer, hence I find Joomla and it's components really easy to use, and your instructions are fantastics (better than the manual) However, I need your help When I go into my joomla Admin Freeway CP is showing, however when I try to access it I get the following error

Warning: require(includes/services_filenames.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/arista/websites/aristauk.com/htdocs/freeway/admin/includes/filenames.php on line 122

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/services_filenames.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /home/arista/websites/aristauk.com/htdocs/freeway/admin/includes/filenames.php on line 122

Would you be able to help?

Many Thanks

Jo
