Hi guys,

I'm looking at running a session that will roughly be the following:
1) Grab a Win2k8 box that has been configured with AD but nothing else
OR a server joined to it OR configure a clean Win2k8 box
2) Run up WebPI and use it to install/configure Joomla! and MySQL
3) Validate we're up and running with the site.
4) Go through and configure the PHP LDAP extension with PHP Manager
5) Set up Joomla! to connect to Active Directory via LDAP
-> Do some examples of what might fail and why, debugging this and
going from there
6) Enable and configure Windows Authentication
7) Walk through configuring Joomla! to connect to Active Directory to do SSO
-> Spend some time here looking at potential configuration mistakes as well

This will be all Joomla! 1.6 however most of what is being covered is also directly applicable in Joomla! 1.5;

Approximate session length is an hour. I'm targeting at running this along side a SJUG regular meeting however if another day would work better I am open to switching days.

I'm also looking into running two training sessions during the day at $150 each. If you are interested in attending these session please indicate on the form below.

If those interested could fill in the form listed below then I can start moving towards planning my visit to Sydney!
