Hello everyone

I've been a bit rude and just posted some questions without introducing myself. Apologies. I'm a total beginner with Joomla and was initially frustrated with it, but thanks to the kind people on this forum and at the Sydney group meeting, things are looking up!

I'm about to launch an online magazine/portal and have been getting the tech side of things ready, practising with Joomla and setting up modules. Good news is, I'm sort of getting the hang of Joomla. I've managed to install Acajoom email newsletter module, sent a test email and dummy newsletter to 3 subscribers (me at different email addresses) and it WORKED! I've also managed to install a 'tweet' button to each article so it can easily be twittered and a search module. The jtweet module isn't showing tweets but apparently lots of people have trouble with it and I've logged a query with the creators and it's not a big drama. So... essentially I'm ready to now seek content and do the creative stuff that I love. It's not News Ltd or SMH, it's a very simple free template, but hopefully people will like the content.

Thanks again, you're all lovely. Oh but don't think I'm going away though - I'm bound to have more silly questions, ha ha! And I'll be along to the next meeting to learn about components.

I myself have used this tweets module:

it works for me, so it must be foolproof.
