Joomla is very impressive (I've just set up a non-profit site), but so many pages of Help screens, manuals and even Idiots' Guides seem written on the assumption that we poor beginners already know so much! I've been struggling to make sense of some basic functions for months now.

My solution is to look for an online tutor (see the Jobs board) who can teach me online using XP Remote Access and Skype.

Otherwise, it's a pleasure to discover the online community, especially here in Oz.
