The Sydney Joomla User Group (SJUG) is proud to present the only Joomla! conference to be held in Australia for 2011, Sydney JoomlaDay 2011, on Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 November 2011, at the University of Technology Sydney - City campus 15 Broadway, Ultimo, NSW 2007.

Joomla! is an award winning open source CMS (Content Management System) that allows designers, developers and end-users to easily build and manage websites. Millions of websites worldwide have been developed using Joomla!, for a wide range of organisations, from commercial to government, and the not-for-profit sector. Joomla! also has a strong active online community with over 500,000 forum participants worldwide.

Sydney JoomlaDay 2011 will feature talks and workshops from local and international Joomla! experts, including core developer, Andrew Eddie, Joomla Platform evangelist Ryan Ozimek from OSM and Brian Teeman from UK, co-founder of Joomla.. The event will bring together a broad cross section of Joomla! experts and enthusiasts, from members of the lead development team, to professional and community developers, designers and end-users. Sydney JoomlaDay 2011 will be full of practical and invaluable insights, education and inspiration, networking opportunities and more, with a mid-weekend social event planned.

Sydney JoomlaDay 2011 will be held across two (2) days, with the full day conference on Saturday 5 November and half day workshops on Sunday 6. Tickets for the Saturday conference cost $99 and for the Sunday workshops range in price from $50 to $150.
