Moodle does a good LMS job and so does JLMS. You would pick JLMS if you want the seamless integrtion, ability to use Community Builder or Jomsocial - need if you want to collect more registration information, ability to sell your courses easily (has it's own shopping cart) but if you want to sell other things then it integrates with Virtuemart.

Did a bit of surfing and this was muted for JCE but 3 1/2 years later we still don't have it - the best I can seems to find it to put up text.

- good plugin which allows you to put a popup ticket creator in the backend (for client support)
- good API (links in to my accounting and crm cloud software)
- good price
- ipad/iphone support
- customisable

ywsolution created a new topic Joomla 2.5 and Article heading in the forums.In a HTML module I've a number of titles linking to articles (added the link with JCE)
When I click on the hyperlink - the article comes up BUT with a top heading of Article.
I've looked everywhere to remove this - it's not in the article, it's not in the Category and I've turned ALL buttons with show on them in Articles - Options
Does anyone know the location of the secret button to turn of "Article"?

ywsolution created a new topic Upgrade from Virtuemart .9 to VM2 in the forums.I lost over 3500 Category listings in my upgrade - thought 1000 did go across. I still have the original VM1.9 tables as well as the new VM2 tables. All ids get changed in the update but the SKU remains the same between the 2 versions.
Has anyone written any SQL to grab the data from the vm_product_category_xref table to the virtuemart_product_categories table using the SKU in vm_product to match up with the SKU in virtuemart_products.
in my mind a little table would have to be created by hand to match the old and the new Category ids = but that's only 30 items
Anyone willing to help (yes money would be involved)?

It's running Joomla 1.5 - easy enough to up it to 2.5
joomlalms.com.au/images/joomlalms_local.zip
If you have a conflict with port 80 already in use on your computer it is easy enough to change the port to another via Apache config (I had to change mine and I run it on 8080)
